Rector

The Rev. Lance Wallace became our priest-in-charge at St. Andrew’s on January 19, 2013 and then was installed as St. Andrew’s fourth rector on November 17. 2013.

Since his ordination in December of 2010, Fr. Lance served as Curate at Church of the Redeemer in Sarasota, Florida. He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida and from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah, Wisconsin.

Fr. Lance was raised in a Baptist family.  As a teen he was involved with the Jesus movement. He later became a Presbyterian. Feeling called into the ministry he became a student in Reformed Theological Seminary. The more he read of church history the more attracted he became to the Episcopal church. While still a student at Reformed Seminary he began to attend St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Titusville, Florida and became an Episcopalian. He still enjoys reading early church history.

Fr. Lance and his wife Diane have 6 adult children. Fr. Lance’s first career was as a school teacher and technology administrator for the public schools. He enjoys chess, reading and a glass of wine.
