Adult Formation Classes

Classes meet Saturdays at 5 pm and on Sundays at 9:15 pm in the Chapel. We are currently going through a study on spiritual gifts. First Sundays of the month are rector’s forum–otherwise known as ‘stump the rector.’  A time for questions dealing with the Bible, church liturgy, and/or church history.

Fall & Spring 2018-2019 Schedule

Adult Bible Study

Bible Study is held on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm and at 6 pm in the chapel September through December. Classes run for one hour. This fall we are studying who God is, First, how he revealed through his names given in the Bible; Second, Has God Played Fair? We will considering why did an omniscient God create humanity knowing that people in every generation would reject him? Thirdly, A Better Look at God’s Face–a brief look at the Trinity. Session Four is titled, Fear and Friendship: two sides of worship; Session Five–Does God know your next move, a study in predestination and free will. The title of session six is ‘When God Says No–we will be discussing how Christians reconcile pain and confusion about unanswered prayer with our belief in an all-powerful God of love.

Fall 2018 Schedule

Youth Confirmation Classes at St. Andrew’s

Youth Confirmation classes are held Sunday morning from 9:45 until 10:30 in Krysher Hall September through May.

First Communion

For information regarding First Communion Classes, please contact the church office at 352-683-2010

Sunday School

Sunday School begins at 10:15 Sunday morning.

Children  join their parents for Holy Communion or the younger ones may go to the nursery if their parents prefer.
