Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry helps young people learn about our Christian faith, experience God’s love, and be introduced to ministry through education, play, fellowship, music, and the creative arts in a safe, nurturing Christian environment.

The future of our church is our youth!

Spritual Development

Exploring and expanding our understanding of what it means to be a Christian, and developing our own relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

FUN!

We make a point of building fellowship through “just for fun” events like trips to the beach, pool parties, and Lock-Ins that include activities (mini-golf, 3050movies, bowling, etc.), pizza, games, and a supervised sleepover in our parish hall with hot breakfast in the morning.

Service and Outreach

Our Boy Scout Troop

Our youth are encouraged to participate in service projects in our community. Many are active in sports, music and other programs through their schools, and we support them in their growth in these areas. St. Andrew’s also sponsors community events through which our youth can welcome friends and family to visit and enjoy fellowship.

Youth Trips and Concerts

Our Youth Ministry likes to travel! We are open to all opportunities to meet with other Christian youth groups. We attend contemporary Christian music concerts including Disney’s Night of Joy, Universal’s Rock the Universe and YouthQuake.

For more information, contact Youth Minister Joanne Lillpopp at 352/683-2010

TAKE THE TIME NOW!

Adults know how fast the days of our youth fly by. Take time to TALK about how important Christian fellowship and spiritual development is in your life today.

St. Andrew’s has a great, healthy youth program that welcomes you to join us on our spiritual journeys. There are lots of answers to be found along the way, and every question is worth asking.

Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
